The keys on this song always stand out to me. It’s one of those songs that make me deeply question whether the solo era was an improvement over the band. Plus, the vocal phrasing has such a refreshed sound to it. God, I over think these things, these musical things.

There are many moments in which I openly mock this video. Despite that, I still take Morrissey and his music, especially this song, very seriously. I’m not sure what that ability of his is, but Its certainly valuable. I can think of very few artists of any vein who inspire my loyality while constantly embarrassing me.
