Dusted off this album yesterday morning and it’s still spinning as of today. The students are tired of listening to it, but who really cares about them anyways. This whole album is a gem. The perfect amount of twang.
I’m wearing running shoes on casual Friday. What is happening? I’m turning into one of those lack of style, wear whatever is comfortable kind of people. I’m disgusted with myself. My chucks and skate shoes are like children who have … Continue reading
I bought the original release, so this is the opening track. Great opening track to an album, one of the greatest opening tracks on any album. In fact, despite the fact that I’m not even a huge Deftones fan, this album may be have the greatest song order I’ve ever heard. Well, QOTSA’s Rated R is probably the best, but you know what I’m saying.

A band that certainly is to blame for not achieving more. Such little promotion, such few records. I almost don’t like them because of their inability to keep feeding me more of the similar.
The smattering of voices have been hushed. They are writing. Please, for the love of God, don’t let anything burst through the door and interrupt this. I have given up my prep three days in a row. Mind over matter. … Continue reading
J is beyond dynamic. He is a religious leader who is capable of shredding. You know, like David Koresh if he played guitar instead of drums. I get that the band is more than J, but really, be honest with yourself, they aren’t really.
