I bought the original release, so this is the opening track. Great opening track to an album, one of the greatest opening tracks on any album. In fact, despite the fact that I’m not even a huge Deftones fan, this album may be have the greatest song order I’ve ever heard. Well, QOTSA’s Rated R is probably the best, but you know what I’m saying.

This song is powerful. Great tune. Great video. Great location. So many things are so perfect about this entire piece. However, I’ve never understood the completely over-the-top fanboyism regarding Nine Inch Nails and Manson. I enjoy their work, but by no means would I ever feel compelled to die my hair some silly color and parade around in their tee shirts. When I see people older than me, 23, dressed in this manner my heart dies a little bit.
