I have been listening to this album for two days now. Its made me what to drive my car through a bus stop. The disc is powerful and much smarter than most people give it credit for. One of my favorites.

I don’t usually enjoy covers. However, I enjoy both parties and believe that this was performed as a tribute and not some ill-fated attempt at irony or credibility. Not that Alice in Chains covers gives any credibility, if anything, the Ryan Adams version shows cynics that Alice in Chains was actually quite beautiful behind all of that distortion and reverb.
